I Met a Millionaire at the Dentist

Two days ago I went to the dentist. Suddenly I was in really severe pain. And that's when it happened: I met a millionaire.
My gums were badly inflamed. I'd never had anything like it and couldn't make sense of it at all. In the waiting room a nice man started talking to me. I was reading a book and he struck up a conversation with me. He asked what I thought of the book, because he wanted to buy it. It's a bestseller about economics.

That's how we got talking, and he gave me his business card. He said he'd be delighted if he could take me out to dinner and talk with me more. He was charming and had charisma. The next day I called him. Beforehand, of course, I was curious and googled him. Then I was speechless. I had met a millionaire. He must be really rich. A real big shot in the real estate industry. His name was familiar to me. But when I looked at the business card, it didn't click right away. Unbelievable! I met a millionaire.
Met a millionaire - What on earth should I wear?
I'm endlessly excited and still don't know what to wear:
- the little black dress
- a casual pantsuit
- a tuxedo jacket, jeans and high heels
- a colorful dress
It's so hard. First I'm going to book an appointment with my beautician. I hope she can quickly tint my lashes and shape my eyebrows. I can slap a face mask on myself. I want to look stunning so that he knows for certain he wants only me. Dreams are sometimes just pipe dreams. He'll surely be very cautious, because he can have lots of women. Why would he want me in particular?
Otherwise I have no trouble changing quickly for a date. I've already tried on twenty different outfits and thrown them on a pile. Nothing is really an option. I'll quickly head downtown after all.
Met a millionaire: maybe like Pretty Woman one day?
I quickly drove downtown. I love the movie "Pretty Woman." It would be great if one day I could get dressed up the way she did. I don't have a lot of money. I get by and can treat myself to something now and then.

I decided to go to my favorite store and dress rather simply. And it was a direct hit. During the course of our evening he told me he was thrilled with my style. He likes women who know exactly what suits them and only hint at their feminine charms. I trusted my gut. I'd met a millionaire and simply felt comfortable in my outfit. Successful men want women at their side who don't look cheap. Because Richard Gere wanted it that way in the movie, too!
